What is microfiber?
Microfiber is a fiber with less than 1 denier per filament. The Denier is a measure of linear density and is often used to describe the size of a fiber or a filament (9000 meters of a one-denier fiber weighs only one gram). Fibers are combined to form yarns. Yarns are knitted or woven in a variety of constructions. While many microfibers are made of polyester, they can also be composed of polyamide (nylon) or other polymers.
What is microfiber made of?
Most microfiber products are made of 80% Polyester, 20% Polyamide or 70% Polyester, 30% Polyamide.
How is microfiber manufactured?
Microfiber products used for consumer cleaning are generally constructed from split conjugated fibers of polyester and polyamide. When a high-quality microfiber is combined with the right knitting/weaving process, it creates an extremely effective cleaning material.

How durable is microfiber?
Microfiber is a very durable material and can be washed hundreds of times. A cotton towel appearance and functionality will be visibly reduced after 20 washes or so, microfiber can sustain 300 to 500 washes with very limited effect on the product.
How to wash microfiber?
Hand or machine wash with mild detergent. Wash and dry with like, non linting materials. To maintain your microfiber original properties, do not use chlorine bleach, fabric softeners or dryer sheets. Tumble dry low.
How does microfiber work?
Unlike cotton which pushes the dirt in front of the cloth, Microfiber is capable of grasping the dirt in between its filaments and keeps it there until you thoroughly shake the cloth or rinse it.
What is GSM?
GSM or Grams per Square Meter is a unit of density of the cloth. Typically the higher the number, the better the quality. Some applications require a higher GSM than others.
What is the difference between Microfiber made in China or Microfiber made in
